We stayed home on saturday because David was waiting for the delivery of his new dream tank.  He spent his day pacing up and down the house waiting for his tank while me and the kids slept the day away.  After his tank came, we went to Jalan Kaya for dinner.

We spent sunday home too because the fish tank maintenance guys are coming down to setup all the pipings and hose for his fish tank.  So all in all, it was a pretty boring weekend for me and the kids.

My only consolation, the ice cream man.  While the kids were sleeping and I was staring into his empty fish tank, the familiar sound of the ice cream man ringing his bell made me jump to my feet.  I always love the home made ice cream.

Nothing beats the familiar taste of old old fashion ice cream.  I remember I used run down 8 flights of steps (lift those day very slow, kekeke) whenever I heard the ice cream man ring his bell.  In those days, a huge cup like that only cost like 50 cents, and couple of years ago when I was working in Raffles Place, a cup like that cost $1. 

But this cup I bought from my void deck yesterday cost me a whopping $2.  Standard of living and cost has reasonable increased steadily over the years and the only thing not increasing is my SALARY!
